Emerald Sapphire QE-256/80 AAA Printhead
The Emerald Sapphire QE-256/80 AAA Printhead is a high-performance industrial inkjet printhead engineered for applications requiring extreme flexibility, durability, and precision. It features 256 individually addressable nozzles and supports both binary and grayscale jetting using advanced VersaDrop™ technology.
This printhead is designed to eject adjustable 80 to 200 picoliter drops in binary jetting mode or a fixed 80 picoliter fundamental drop in grayscale mode. Jetting occurs at a nominal 8 m/s drop velocity with fluids in the 10 to 14 centipoise viscosity range, providing stable performance across a wide variety of industrial ink formulations.
A robust, field-proven metal nozzle plate ensures precise drop placement accuracy with UV-curable, solvent, and aqueous-based inks. With its lightweight, thin-profile design, high-frequency continuous operation, and ability to function at temperatures up to 90°C (194°F), the Emerald Sapphire QE-256/80 AAA is ideal for demanding OEM and industrial inkjet systems.
